Georgia Twynham

G. L. Twynham has achieved a great deal in her short career as an author. Deciding to self-publish in the hope of catching the attention of a mainstream publisher, she has so far visited over six thousand school children, sold several thousand copies of her books after being added to core stock of some of the biggest book stores in the country, written and published two books in her six book series, the first of which is currently shortlisted for the Lincolnshire Young Peoples Book Award, and been interviewed over seventy-five times, including on Radio 2 with Jeremy Vine. Her enthusiasm for spreading the word to school children everywhere has lead her to the Variety Club and her involvement in their first ever schools event.

Raring2Go

Raring2go! is fast becoming recognised across the UK as the definitive guide of what to do and where to go for parents/carers and their children. Our focus and that of our editors is firmly fixed on our target audience.  Raring2go! is aimed specifically at the parents, guardians and carers of children aged between 0-11 and is available in two very distinct formats:

1. A magazine that is distributed free to Early Years Foundation and Key Stage 1 and 2 children in primary schools, in local libraries, play groups, nurseries, leisure centres etc. It is a bright, fun, vibrant and eye catching magazine which is already punching above its weight providing parents and their children a valuable local resource.

2. A national web site with a local edge. Our new web site went live in March 2010 and adds its considerable digital weight to Raring2go! as never before. Information from the magazine is available on the web site, as is a screen version of the magazine itself. 
We aim to be the definitive local guide of what to do and where to go for parents and their children. We help families have fun!

Kate Elizabeth

Kate Elizabeth has had a passion for baking ever since she could hold a wooden spoon. As a young girl Kate would spend a lot of her time in the kitchen helping her mum to cook and bake which is where her passion for baking began.

As she grew up baking was always a hobby that she really enjoyed and always made time for. After College Kate decided to move to Liverpool where she achieved a degree and Master degree in Psychology. After almost 5 years of living in the city Kate decided to come back to her roots of North Lincolnshire and set up Kate Elizabeth’s Cupcakes in September 2009. By applying her academic knowledge of the psychology of running a business and her hobby for baking the business soon began to grow and in March 2011 Enchanting Cakes by Kate Elizabeth was launched.

Kate prides herself on using the finest local ORGANIC flour and free range eggs and sources as much as she can locally for use in her cakes. Kate loves nothing more than making and designing cakes and she hopes you enjoy eating them as much as she does creating them.

Kate is based in North Lincolnshire and is available to visit local participating schools to bake Sunshine cakes. Her recipe is also available to download.
